Don't know who that guy was, but he definitely didn't look like a "normal" protester... Cops don't let a station just get taken either-where was all the tear gas, flash grenades, rubber bullets, etc? Definitely not adding up. Makes me question the original death-they couldn't even say if he was dead going into the ambulance or died at the hospital (moot point, if civilian did that to him it would be murder charge either way.)

Locals are saying the cops started the vandalism to take the focus off the cops. At first I thought no way, but now I’m thinking they knew just how corrupt the cops are in that city

A couple of things are accomplished with what he did:

Protestors were focused on the murder of George. Starting a free for all of looting took attention away from that and also creates sympathy for the police when the chaos scares the public.

I also believe the establishment provided the arsonists because of the fire at the precinct tonight. That building looked like brink or stone so setting it on fire had to be an inside job.

It is corrupt to the core. I think it was the the Seattle, WA police department in the 2000's or so that was literally just out headhunting people weekly. The Federal Government literally finally had to take over and babysit the entire police department starting around 10 years ago and they still may be doing so.

The Minn police are kind of like that - they seem to be a toxic mixture of corruption, violence, unaccountability, and frankly incompetence.
