That's because you're freebasing the nicotine. Regular cigarettes have 3 different types of ammonias they use to soak the tobacco leaves, not to mention the saltpeter to make it keep exploding and burn the cigarette faster so that you light up another one. Before I quit for good, I stopped smoking regular cigarettes and started smoking a brand that DOESN'T have any chemicals in it, especially 900+ CARCINOGENIC chemicals added to them, all addictive, all highly deadly. It's as if all these many years, the tobacco co.'s have WANTED to kill off their customers, it makes absolutely no sense. Once you don't have the freebasing chemicals in the tobacco shooting the nicotine into your lungs - which causes you to be jonesing constantly for your next fix, there is no more pressure to light up another one and another and another. The habit starts to slowly die because that level of nicotine high isn't hitting your blood so quickly. You still get nicotine, but in much lower doses. After 40+ years of smoking, I eventually lost interest and put them down for good, by smoking American Spirit cigarettes, the ones without the chemicals, at least they didn't back when I stopped, early 2000's. I heard they've been acquired by one of the big brands like phillip morris, etc., so maybe they're back to their old tricks again, poisoning people or maybe it's still the real deal. This, exactly. Buy those, yellow pack - blue might be too light you'll begin not wanting them at all andddd you need to purchase vitamins for your lungs like clear lungs it cleans your blood help you quit sooner. 10 years and havent looked back or craved yet |

Heating up coffee is one that I do and I don't know why. I love (ersatz) "iced coffee" or coffee milkshake, I've described it as. Ice cold, thick coffee with milk or cream, sugar or sugar substitute in the a.m. and a toast or whatever I am eating for breakfast. I poured the coffee with sugar and milk and mixed it, had a sip and thought it was good. Then I robotically turned to the microwave to heat up my coffee. 'Why am I heating it up if I like it cold?' I asked myself; like thousands of other times perhaps, in this lifetime, I automatically turn to heat up my coffee. Why? If I don't brew it fresh, I have day-old fresh brewed coffee in the refrigerator, sometimes with milk or cream already mixed in. Quoting: A D R O I T 1 It was just a thought. Perhaps someone else may want to chime in with a similar habit that they don't know where it evolved from. And, where does that line get crossed when a simple habit becomes an O.C.D. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) Good Morning, G.L.P. smoking |

I am a nail biter. Since childhood. Thankfully, they don't look abnormally short where the ends of the fingers buldge out and look bizarre, like I've seen on many people who also indulge in nail biting. Mine look like they are well manicured, but I bite them down into being so, like a chiseled fingernail artwork almost. That's probably a good habit then. Quoting: A D R O I T 1 me too. Mine don't look terrible but they certainly don't look manicured. I have seen way worse tho. Like really godawful bad. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77560678 you always hear things like this and it makes me think the anti-tobacco propaganda is at least as bad as the old pro-smoking propaganda (advertising). How in God's name are you going to cram 900 or whatever toxic chemicals into a cigarette? I'm not saying a modern cigarette isn't chemically engineered, I'm sure they are. And I'm not saying smoking cigarettes is good for you, it's clearly terrible. But c'mon. Thanks guys There are a few others as well. Strong mint tea is also good for the lungs. Steep it long with a drop of lemon and honey. Also, it may be cheaper to order online. There are lots of legit supplement co.'s online, many are 40 years old or older and are trusted. Look up the best one for your needs. They always have online discount coupons as well. |
