Unfortunately, those suburbs in lefty states and in cities that vote D are not all armed. I imagine most are not. They don't believe in owning guns and are against the 2nd amendment. If this comes to pass I hope the lesson they learn is transformative.

Later on when Peter cut the ear off of Malchus Jesus said to drop the sword because of you live by it you die by it. He told them to buy swords to teach them a lesson. And Jesus never sent his disciples or apostles out to leach with swords.

So Jesus didn’t tell us to arm ourselves. Do it if you want but it’s on you. He did tell us to pray for those persecuting us and love our enemies.

Anyway we are allowed to defend ourselves but be careful because there is always karma to pay if it is unnecessary violence.

People are allowed to defend their own property. I think it is about going out on someone else’s property and shooting a looter. Anyway looks like all bets are off and it’s fair game on looters now. The Polk county sheriff gave that warning. I’m pretty certain that the looters will think twice about coming into the country side.

Jesus was clear as crystal regarding the purchase of a major weapon of the day. This was not a suggestion on His part, but a command. Anyone disputing this fact is an agent or tool of Satan, and wants you DEAD.

Jesus didn’t tell Peter to drop his sword, but to sheath it. If Jesus had had a problem with Peter being armed, he would have told him to dispose of it, or stopped him from carrying one in the first place. The point is Peter’s use of a sword in that situation was uncalled for, as Jesus had to be arrested to fulfill His mission.

Any Christian who does not have today’s equivalent of sword is disobedient to his Savior’s command, will have to answer for his disobedience before Christ, and is in danger of losing his or her Salvation.
