Twitter Posts Announcement That They Have Censored the White House Twitter Account in Addition to the President's Twitter Account

Whoever tweeted about what?? I don't use twitter or follow anyone on it. Only read some links here.

All we did was remove bullshit protections from them. It becomes wrong when a private entity uses their bias to censor and control the information that we recieve. Now people who feel they have been wronged can do something about it. Whats wrong with that?

Are you really that stupid? This is EXACTLY what Twitter wants. They don't want to police themselves and they don't want to face court over not blocking some dipshit. They don't want the expense. If the president demands free speech on Twitter, he'll be doing the company a favor. Twitter's hands are clean no matter what it's users post. I believe Twitter is purposely trying to piss off the President, and secretly hope he'll post more blockable material.

Twitter your going to end up forcing Trump to flex. You may end up like Myspace. Might want to rethink this whole thing. What do the people want more? A president who is fixing country and showing people what politics really is. Or a platform for the hard left to keep poisoning the mind of the public. From young to old.

Not only that in my eyes. Twitter is more far left same with all of the internet platforms. They allow far left to roam about freely. The right can't even take a walk in the park. The left is allowed walk in your house drink milk out of the carton and have there way with your wife.

It's a platform only if they do not act as a publisher, so no twitter with all their manipulation and censorship are clearly not a platform.
Private or public, that does not matter at all.

They have to choose, either they quit publishing "facts" and banning and manipulating for political reasons and become a platform with all protections that come from that, or keep being a publisher and get sued into oblivion for every harmful tweet on their website... like child pornography, murder threats and so on....

IF you want to get into freedom of speech and press. Look at what is being censored and allowed this is not rocket science.

Censorship restricts Free Speech.

The freedom to express and openly debate ideas is vital to a free people.

Censorship and freedom cannot coexist in a free society.

Twitter is not just a private company. It us a major public forum. Twitter is nothing without public participation. Users give Twitter its power. They are akin to a public utility (though privately controlled).
The users require protection from unfair practices. If it were a smaller company and there were many similar services, it would be easy to boycott them, but the scale of it's user base means it is hard to go elsewhere without sacrificing freedom to speak in a major public forum. Twitter owns its servers and Apps, but the public has the right to own the discussion.

Even the left knows it's easier to be on the left. You can complain about everything. Say your feelings are rule of law. Collect free shit. And pretend up is down.

If anything we know which side is biased at this point in history.

That isnt what's happening. It's called riot control. The majority of citizens that live in that area are not involved. The area needs order restored. You act as if they're just gonna go in there and start killing people off the bat. That isnt what happens unless all other measures dont work. A small portion of that areas citizens cannot be allowed to destroy it. You keep wording it as "kill fellow americans" as if they're just peaceful regular law abiding citizens. While they might have certainly been before, they arent right now. I dont wish death on anybody, but if they keep destroying the city and resist to order being restored, something needs to be done for the majority of people that live there that will have their lives uprooted if order isnt restored. I get the frustration, but 2 wrongs dont make a right.

Hes talking about deploying the national guard, who have always been the ones for these situations, to restore order. The people out rioting are a small portion of that areas citizens. He is talking about restoring order to a place being destroyed by a small percentage of that areas citizens. Hell watching the livestreams you can gather that a good amount dont even live close to there. They cant be allowed to destroy the area. They arent gonna go and just start shooting shit.
