Minnesota isn't a stand your ground state it's duty to retreat state. Shooting looters can get is risky.

so when the looters decide to descend upon the governors house, he WILL have the duty to retreat!!

That's how the crowd invaded that police precinct and torched it? So this applies to the cops too. Yep, time for the Army

Any red blooded American who does not sympathize with the protesters needs to gtfo.

ThPolice started the violence with provocateurs. Period.

I feel for the business owners and average citizens, I really do.

BUT... when you plant poison seeds, you bear bitter fruit.

The community, state has tended this bitter garden, now they sow the despair.

Let this be a lesson for all of America in November.

Nope. It’s going to get worse. Far worse. Business generates the tax on which a city is ran. When business is down the city is down. Third precinct is no longer protected meaning all the businesses will close. Meaning the PD lays off cops and/or hires lower grade cops and here comes the next event.

Minnesota is a "duty to retreat" state.

If you are NOT in your own home you can NOT
shoot and or kill a human being.

If any of those idiots shoots and kills someone they
will be charged with murder.

The Cadillac Pawn Shop owner has been arrested for
shooting and killing someone looting his pawn shop.
He is currently booked under the charge of homicide.

And after the murder charge the civil suits will start
and they will take everything their family owns.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70353425

If you have no reasonable means of escape, you most certainly can shoot someone intent on harming you. Those two fellow don’t look too speedy, and a mob of fit young yutes could easily catch up to and kill them if they tried to run, so...

I guess what you really mean is, that you like getting bent over.

Well... you can it’s just not legal so if your caught your in trouble. Then again once you fire to defend yourself there really is no longer a motivation to stop firing.

Ha ha ha ha, that is a good one. The police union will never let that happen. When's the last time you saw a layoff in the public sector? Um, never?

Juries can nullify that law by refusing to convict. It's risky to try that approach though.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78942141

It isn't risky at all! You go in with 11 other people behind closed doors and you come out and say "NOT GUILTY" and that is the end of it.

Or you get at least one decent human being with a backbone to refuse to go along with the gang of Karens and force a mistrial and force the govt. to keep repeating the process over and over until they realize it is futile.

It is as simple as that.

True.

Under Common Law, the Jury has the right, and duty, to judge the applicable law.

If they conclude that "The Law is an Ass", then they can quite legally nullify it.

Activist judges may well threaten them with contempt of court for not voting as expected, but it's a bluff.
