Police: Woman found dead inside a car in Minneapolis

A woman was found dead inside a car Friday morning, according to John Elder, Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson.

According to Elder, two police chiefs were flagged down while on patrol. They were told that a woman might be dead inside a car by North Bryant and 17th avenues.

Once they arrived at the scene, the officers found a car in the middle of the road with a woman inside on the back seat. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

They believe the woman to be in her 30s and stated that they see trauma to the body, said Elder.

The woman was the only person in the car.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS asked Elder if the death was connected to recent events going on in the cities. He said it is hard to tell, but the energy is high with tension throughout the city.

More information about the incident is expected to come at a later time.

There were reports of a woman or women being kidnapped, maybe this poor woman was one of them.

There have always been multiple serial rapists operating in Minneapolis at any given time. It's been referred to as the Rape Capital of the United States. It is all black on white and you will never hear one word about it. (edit my post - of course there is tons of black on black crime!)

The media doesn't report on 99.99% percent of the crime that goes on in that city because it is all black on white.(edit again - of course there is tons of black on black crime!) When they do report on crime they make an ostentatious point of not mentioning the race of the perpetrator even if he's still at large, which of course makes you assume that the perpetrator is black.

It's the most fucked up place imaginable under it's squeaky-clean image. It's super corrupt I saw it first hand close up across the board.

Sorry I already had no use for the place and these sad and tragic events have made me a little bitter.

That was one of the worst things I ever read.
