This is true. 3rd degree is basically manslaughter. A charge with no intent - which is laughable given the charging document stating he held his knee on his cartoid artery (my emphasis) for 2:43 after he stopped moving or talking. Sentence for 3rd degree in Minnesota is up to 25 years but he could end up with probation or a short sentence. It’s the same charges that theIr Somalian cop got for shooting Justine Damond upon hearing a loud noise. |
