Loss of social media's sheild to liaibility will cause more freedom of speach, here's how:

The EO that Trump just signed is important.

They now can identify busniess that are not just simply platforms of speach, but as editorial type journalism.

For now on, you must allow all speach, all "hate", all opinions, all words, everything, or your 230 status will be taken away.

If that happens, anyone can sue the platform for anything that is posted by anyone.

So what happens?

The editorial platform must stop almost all speach, and therefore nobody will visit it anymore.

If they don't, they will be sued into bankruptcy by any and all lawsuits aimed at speach posted by a 3rd party and hosted on their platform.

This basically stops any social media that is located in the US from policing their website and

banning people for opinions because if they do, they risk losing their 230 status.

For now on, if you use a social media platform that is located in the US, it will be free speach.
