The family has hired Dr. Michael Baden to do an independent autopsy. I'm guessing he comes to similar conclusions.

Sorry, the report indicates that the restraint contributed to his death, whether or not it was the sole cause. So he'll be convicted regardless.

Pressure to the carotid artery on the side of the neck can stop the heart. This type of prone restraint is not allowed in prisons because it’s deadly. Cops can use it though.

You have one on each side of your neck. Stopping both will cause an immediate blackout as your brain bp drops to zero. Stopping one does nothing if the other one is not blocked.

This cannot stop your heart.

Exactly, that's not asphyxiation, he wasn't on his windpipe, carotid artery carries blood to the brain.
