Roy is very depressed. He had no idea of the amount of the medical bills.He wanted to see the checkbook, because he wanted a few bucks out of the bank.I have been paying the bills for months now, and have kept all the receipts, no hanky panky on my part. He does have health insurance, which does pay 80%, and since he doesn't have a supplement, he gets a further break.One bill that came in last week was $20,000 and the balance owed was $1,500.Five hospitalizations and five ambulance rides are not cheap even with insurance and a break.

So, he found out his retirement account has been nearly wiped out by the medical bills. What is left will not be enough to cover the bills yet to come. We will pay what we can, and make arrangements for the rest.

I got to look at it as to what it is. If he didn't have the retirement account, there would have been no money to pay the medical bills so far. We would have been in deep trouble financially months ago.It's coming, but it has been delayed by the fact he had the retirement account.

I trust in God to get us through all this, and I know for a fact that He will !
