Protip for Protesters - Leave your phone at home, or shield it.

I see a lot of people using their phones to record, stream, etc. Minneapolis has a mandatory curfew in effect, and it will be VERY easy to know who is abiding by this. Will be interesting if the city mails out citations to offenders..

I don’t have any evidence that supports the government using your GPS data maliciously .. but all your phones now come with contact-tracing as a standard feature through a forced update. The government will have NO problems flagging rioters as at-risk individuals.

If you are protesting, and especially in a riot-heavy location, don’t allow your phone to rat you out.
