I remember all of this very well. I watched this play out on live television and could never understand: why did he stop? Was he able to lock his doors and if so, why weren’t they locked?

I watched in horror the beating that they inflicted on him, how they danced and celebrated, smashing his head with a brick. They gloated over his body as he suffered and nearly died.

Some of you just don’t get it yet. There are people that would stick a knife into your chest and stomp your head into the pavement, then walk away and not lose a moment of sleep that night. There is no “common Humanity” felt by this particular “culture” toward you. They lack empathy:

“they don’t know you.”

You can’t imagine that such evil actually exists, but you cross paths with such people every day.

It’s very liberating once you accept that you must believe the absolute worst about people in certain situations. It may save your life one day. This is the mistake that Reginald Denny and others make when they stop their vehicles in the midst of a violent mob.

The young man who was ground into the pavement under the wheels of the truck would have stomped the driver’s head into the curb, along with all of his “bruhs,” if he could have. Given what he and they were doing, it is not incumbent upon me or anyone else to believe otherwise, to confer some level of virtue upon their character. The burden is not upon me to operate as though the Mob is somehow benevolent.

I’m so glad the truck driver made it out ok. I’m not lamenting the dead criminal for one moment. Sane, well-adjusted people will understand this.

"the video captured protesters banging on the FedEx truck, urging the driver to back up. A man, who was seen standing between the truck's two trailers, was dragged by the semi truck just moments later.

The good mob people were just banging on the truck trying to get the uncaring truck driver to backup. But the mean man just drove away killing the man. I'm sure if the truck driver had just stopped and talked to the mob everyone would be happy and safe today. It's not like their's history of inner cty mob violence against truck drivers.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I’m actually pretty ashamed that we, as a country, let thugs run wild like this just because of the color of their skin.

Rioters and looters should all be shot on sight. It has nothing to do with race, and entirely to do with how people CHOOSE to act.

Let people believe what they want.

It's not safe for the driver to get out and shoot the looters, so he does the safest and smartest thing, which is to just keep going.

Looters of any race, like monkeys, are nasty ass thugs that deserve to be shot. In a more civil society, they would have been.
