Fed Ex green drivers are nuts, watch out for em on the roads (if the logo is red it's a company driver, green is contracter.) Do not EVER get in their way. I do feel bad that a child went the wrong way in life, & ended up as a young adult dying in this way. I wish we would look at what could have prevented that, but much like a trained fighting dog that has to be put down-a sad, preventable tragedy-it is for the betterment of society that he is no longer on the streets.

As a trucker, I need to also explain that the law is on our side during imminent threat situations like this.

If your truck is being assaulted by a mob or a gang, legally, since we have a sleeper bunk and are on paid time, it is considered our "home" by federal law and we can and will run over you like any other wild pig on the road and not even think twice about it.

I would have done the same thing as this trucker, and so would every other trucker I know. We are the most jaded group in the road as we see road kill 24/7 365. You have no idea what you are dealing with. Truckers will run over you. And if you break into that cab, you will either get a round or a dagger to the neck.
