It's been a long time since I seen that movie. I think these guys are just that cops that are under cover. The police normally send under cover cops to protests even ones that are likely to turn into riots. The cops have that look of long hours, shift work and steady diet of fast food and middle age and a lot of sitting in patrol cars. The FBI or other governmental agencies don't put their workers in that unhealthy work environment. It is the same kind work schedule that manufacturing workers like GM workers go through. Two weeks nights and Two weeks days and that tends to lead to heart disease and being tired and over eating and drinking and becoming over weight. I know because my father worked at GM and other members of the family have and that shift work lifestyle takes a toll on the body and that's why middle aged cops that have been living the shift work life style for years look awful.
