I'm guessing there's some sort of logical reason there weren't any people aboard yet another test flight.. but I'm kind of a moron, so I'll keep trying to figure it out.

You develop, then test.

When it fails, you try to fix the problem, then test again.

When something else fails, you try to fix the problem, then test again.

When something else fails, you try to fix the problem, then test again.

Eventually you arrive at a system that completes the goals.

The Mercury program went through these engineering challenges.

The Apollo program went through these engineering challenges.

The Shuttle program went through these engineering challenges.

SpaceX is problem solving.

The early SpaceX program was explosion after explosion.

Now they have a highly profitable and reliable launch system.

Same thing with the Starship.

It started with learning how to weld the seams on large pressure vessels. Several failures.

Skip forward, and now they are trying to learn how to land the damn thing.

Eventually they will overcome the problem, then move on.

Snowflakes do not grasp this concept.

You try, fail, solve the problem, and move forward.

So go fuck yourselves. Did you give up when you fell face first as a toddler trying to learn to walk?

When they accomplish the goal, you will find something else to piss and moan about.

its far far far easier to land vertically on planets or moons with lower gravity... Chances are if you take that starship to Mars you have a higher chance of a successful landing. And less oxygen in the atmosphere for less chance of an explosion.

Remember Apollo landed and took off again from the moon. Because its a walk in the park compared to our giant gravity well.

As for starship landing on earth, i think the capsule should detach and deploy a parachute whilst the starship in in horizontal mode.. Then the main ship should attempt its experimental landing. Gathering data for many years of trial and error until one day hopefully they get it really reliable enough for crewed landings.

Heard an airplane crashed one time. Should we trust these pilots?

Go back and see how many rockets the military and NASA blew up back in the early days of the space program. LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of them.

The Saturn V engines kept blowing up during EVERY attempted firing for quite some time (that is the rocket that carried man to the moon).

It wasn't at the the launch or flight where they had a problem with this rocket ... but it's attempted landing.

Have you ever seen NASA attempt even ONE landing of a rocket? NOPE ... it is beyond NASA's ability yet for his smaller rockets Musk is landing those rockets back on the ground right where he wants them almost weekly.

They will figure out what went wrong, and correct it. It may take another 3 or 5 rocket launches to get the problems ironed out, but ironed out they will.

Part of the process of extreme exploration is the danger involved.. Yet humanity has always been driven to the extreme exploration, and so we've conquered the planet. Sometimes the cost of progress is worth it, and at least we can automate these things now instead of killing people in each failed rocket!

We were made by God to live out our lives here, and then be judged. They don't want people to know this, so they make you feel insignificant in the infinite universe. Space X is using Falcoln 9 rockets to send up cargo and men right now. Those rockets are well tested and don't belong to Space X.
The company is trying to develop it's own rocket and those are the ones blowing up.

Why is there this massive disinformation campaign about spacex going on? Why are you making these posts when you don't even know what is going on? The rocket that flew yesterday is the 2nd flight that they expected failure. This is early development and the rocket you see is only half of its completed size. You morons post too much.
