Well is suppose black lives matter even more there, they can't afford to lose too many.

And the protesters are gonna pay for it!

SiriusXM radio did a 3 minute moment of silence a couple hours ago for, and I quote, "George Floyd and other victims of racist violence".

OK, couple of things here. So... if you want to have a moment of silence for "George Floyd and other victims of police brutality", that's fine by me. I think when the bodycam footage is released, it will change a lot of (objective) people's minds... but you can certainly make the argument for excessive force by police, and you can absolutley call them out for not rendering aid when he became unresponsive.

But to call him a "victim of racist violence" is a downright dishonest statement. There is not a SINGLE piece of evidence to support the claim that racism had anything to do with this.

1. Floyd wasn't profiled, he was still parked outside the store where the clerk identified him.

2. Floyd wasn't treated any differently than a white person would have been in the run-up to his arrest. The store owner, upon realizing the bill was fake after already giving him the cigarettes, asked him to just give back the smokes and they would be good... he refused so the clerk called the police.

3. Floyd was visibly intoxicated... this is stated in the 911 call, by the officers in the viral video, and by the medical examiner. Even if he was the wrong guy, he would have been arrested from driving under the influence.

4. Tony Timpa, a very white man, died in almost an exactly similar scenario. Floyd received medical attention much sooner than Timpa did during his arrest.

5. Two of the officers weren't white.

6. The wife of the officer charged with murder isn't white.

Odd... no simultaneous protests erupting in China.
