And the greater Tulsa metro accounts for only 25% of the total active cases in the state. Oklahoma while infected is on the right course for elimination or minimal continuance. |

Cleveland county here, and after the initial couple of weeks most ppl realized this was BS and it was life as usual. A little slower perhaps, but no one bitching because you don't have a mask, no one throwing a fit over businesses opening, etc... On a related note, a few yrs ago Okla passed a law releasing drivers from liability if they hit someone, if the road is being illegally blocked by 'protesters' and the driver feels they're in danger. You don't see the violent protests here. If people want to legitimately protest, stand around, yell, hold signs, whatever...god bless them, it's their god-given right, regardless of the reason. But once they start breaking shit, burning down buildings and causing destruction our police and citizens don't tolerate it. The risk to the rioters are too high, those that aren't shot will get prosecuted. |
