Interestingly enough, I had a zombie dream last night.

It was pretty much as you describe it, infected people walking around 'in a daze', peacefully, and talking nonsense to each other.

The twist was, if they spoke some nonsense to you, something completely disconnected from reality around them (like, for example, saying "Spring is so beautiful this time of year" in the middle of December), and you responded rationally, their whole behavior would suddenly change, and they would start running after you like zombies from World War Z movie, all mad and crazed.

I don't know what to think of this dream yet, but my subconscious is definitely trying to tell me something here.
