If you had pure o2, and a fire started.. yikes. Thus, the major disasters of early space flight where they used to only use o2 in the cabin of the astronauts, and a fire torched a group of them because of how intense the o2 made it burn). Secondly, the earth used to not be O2 covered, but other mixes of gases, co2 and such, and it's a very slow process of all the algae and trees and such that eventually converted that to what we have now. The Dino's had a pretty different atmosphere, a lot richer with other gases, for example. Part of why things were so big back then. Thirdly, why would what you call God operate on a physical level like that, for basic function, anyway? Why would "God" need to breathe? |
