Wouldn't it only be correct for them to have returned when the sound started, since they were already well aware of the situation and there earlier in the day?

Nice thought, but wrong. The guy takes off on his bike to try to track the sound, and it's not coming from a terrestrial source, but in the sky at an angle that allows it to echo off buildings behind the buildings he's in front of.

But that was like an old cannon fire sound,like what they used in the civil war type....LOUD...

something has been going on for the past several years,i have ideas what it might be....

I think this is the most plausible explanation.

It sounds like it's coming from the sky because that's the nature of the screeching, it's the type of frequency it's at.

If it is coming from the sky, a flying monstrosity is carrying the thing making the noises.

It might be a Reaper. If it is a Reaper, they are crouched over, but bipedal, and wear heavy hoods. Their face is skeletal looking, if and only if they are Reapers, read the following:

The Reapers are here Flesh and blood, "technically"

They are super fast and strong. And have long tongues with needle-like points. That's how they drink blood, by opening a neck with their sharp fingers, and sticking it into the heart. While feeding the blood, they somehow send the person's Vital Aura, they're Life Force, to the flesh and blood monster that's controlling the Reaper.



Thankfully they are rare. If you see one, do not engage unless you have 6 or more people with you. And you need to fire round after round into. There bones are very strong. They are tough mofos.

If you find one during the day, that's when they're the weakest. Proceed with caution and do no underestimate them. They are dangerous enemies.

It may talk in a hissing type voice, and try to frighten and intimidate you. Don't let it it intimidate you! Be brave!

They are dangerous, they are deadly. They may not look like much, maybe thin looking but again, do not underestimate them.

ONLY engage from at range!! Do not, under any circumstances, try to take it on in melee combat. Because of how quick they are and how strong they are.

Engage at range. They're easy to spot. They don't look anything like a human.


And they tend to come out at night when they're strongest. But one is found during the day, try to draw it out it out in direct sunlight.

The Reapers will be real obvious. They're physical, "flesh and blood", in a technical sense. Their bones are as strong as steel, and their wounds heal incredibly fast.

They can run as fast as a car going 50-60 MPH at top speed, and leap 2-3 stories, and that's without a running start.

That's why taking them on during the day is safest. But never ever take one on by yourself.

They can lift a full grown person up by just using one hand with no real effort at all.
