blood curdling sound coming from texas skyline

I shared this with my brother and he said hes heard it before call my he said it is owl screeching. Even found a wildlife video and at the end you can hear the owls making the same sound. They also fly high up in the sky at night looking for prey on the ground.

That is very possible.

We have a lot of little owls around here.

Another possibility: out here in the country we hear that kind of scream at night and it's rabbits being murdered by owls, coyote, foxes, etc.

Most of the time, it's wind. Not sure about this one but it sounds like some kind of pressure relief valve with steam or something.

I'm a Head Operator at a power plant w/25yrs experience. I have had my share of hearing safety and relief valves lift, natural gas (up to 400psi) and steam (600 to 2600psi) and these sounds are not similar to what I've experienced at all!!!!!
