It was a great day on the farm, anyone 50 miles north knows farming this area is a major challenge. I promised myself I would get all the crops planted before taking the weekend off to go fishing. June 5th is usual aprox the last frost date and it is a major task to get everything done the first week of June. Time to go fishing tomorrow. I will need pain meds to get out of bed in the morning but I got it all done this week. 100 x 30 ft bed of potatoes and a lot more.
It is going to be rainy and cold this weekend, so my seedlings with be ok.
I can build a fire by my favorite fish spot and eat the little ones roasted on the hot coals and walk away with the 5 limit bigger ones left. Save the mud and sun fish for the garden compost tea, no limit on them. LOL that is this grandmas plan.
