Don't fear the truthbeare User ID: 78957698 Canada 06/02/2020 12:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | (CNN)Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington said Monday evening that she is "outraged" after President Donald Trump visited her church without advance notice to share "a message antithetical to the teachings of Jesus." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75975716 Her pointed comments came after the President walked from the White House to St. John's Episcopal Church, a house of worship used by American presidents for more than a century. Peaceful protesters just outside the White House gates were dispersed with tear gas, flash grenades and rubber bullets. It was all, apparently, so Trump could visit the church. "I am outraged. The President did not pray when he came to St. John's, nor as you just articulated, did he acknowledge the agony of our country right now," Budde told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "AC360." "And in particular, that of the people of color in our nation, who wonder if anyone ever -- anyone in public power will ever acknowledge their sacred words. And who are rightfully demanding an end to 400 years of systemic racism and white supremacy in our country. And I just want the world to know, that we in the diocese of Washington, following Jesus and his way of love ... we distance ourselves from the incendiary language of this President. We follow someone who lived a life of nonviolence and sacrificial love." "We align ourselves with those seeking justice for the death of George Floyd and countless others," she continued. "And I just can't believe what my eyes have seen." [link to us.cnn.com (secure)] women are not to be preachers.. is she a dyke? |

I don't get why women don't understand exactly what it is in the air that makes us think we would want positions of power. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76100954 Do the home thing right with a God fearing man and you have unlimited power. Isn’t Trump’s pastor a woman? By your logic, that would make Trump a false Christian as well. “If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8 "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." - Hunter S. He may be one that thinks because his mother was one, he's one, not uncommon. But so far, he is not against us, hopefully he stays that way Luke 9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. Quoting: SouthSide They are spreading war time propaganda. They have been since 2012. Enemies of our nation. We need to shut all the internet down all social media. That is how they are communicating with each other. In war that is what you do. Cut of all lines of communication. No. Normal people need it. It is 2020, people use it for all sorts of non-riot related things. |

Quoting: SouthSide They are spreading war time propaganda. They have been since 2012. Enemies of our nation. Trump should take a page from JFK. When JFK was double-crossed by Deep Stater Roger Blough of US Steel after having just negotiated a good faith deal between US Steel and the Unions, JFK held a press conference the following day explaining to the American people exactly how Blough and US Steel had just double-crossed him and were trying to rip-off the American people and US military over steel prices: The next thing JFK did was direct his AG Bobby Kennedy to send the FBI to raid the offices of US Steel. Within a few days, US Steel was back at the negotiating table. That's how you beat the Deep State at their own game. Trump should absolutely pull the FCC licenses from CNN and the other propaganda outlets, whose propaganda over these riots they do not even hide anymore. He should have the FBI raid their offices and turn over a few tables. |

The sign says all welcome. But, two bishops now with all the shit going on in this country have wailed that Trump et al (none of whom are included in "all", apparently) just should not even stand in front of the boarded up due to fire church. Anyone can go in a real church (a not boarded up one) and anyone can hold a Bible. These two bishops don't own these things. |
