Wow! I’m a huge nirvana fan and as a youth absorbed all of the information I could find. I did know Chris was into politics but I always assumed he was a lefty. This made my day for some reason.

This. I have been a huge Nirvana fan since youth (the 90s). Ever since Kurt died he has largely stayed out of the music business and limelight in general. He knows how evil and fucked up it is. If you search old Nirvana interviews he was always the politically outspoken one of the group. He is a liberal in the old school sense, not the left of today. He has his 5-10% of Nirvana royalties (which is over 40 million) and I'm glad he gives no fucks about how he will possibly be judged by the insane liberals of today.
