Hilarious. Apple has tracking (not the normal software stuff, but hardware) built into all their display units.

Even if the laptop is an inventory unit, it still reports its serial number and Hardware UUID, if it's on the internet.

If someone doesn't break down his door and arrest him and take all the stuff as evidence, it will only be because it's cheaper for Apple to write the unit off as shrinkage, than recover it and have to sell it as refurbished.

He's an idiot. At the very least, law enforcement just got a completely legal wiretap into his home. All Apple has to do is report the MacBook as stolen, and give the cops the location of where it's at, and the cops can legally eavesdrop on the chocolate Al Capone 24/7 through the machine's mics and camera.

Apple won't go after him because they are communist subversives who sold out to the Communist Chinese. They are pushing kill the cops music on their devices and they publicly stated they stand in solidarity with the rioters like him and to go kill cops.
