I can do over 100 push ups in under a minute!!

*Edit - I should state I could before they shut my gym down. I'll have a go and see how many I can pump out in the morning, I have put some fat on and lost muscle, so it won't be near that - but hopefully I can get 50+

If you do an exercise explosively you can usually do a heckuva lot more due to momentum. Doing an exercise slowly is more difficult. Lots of people use momentum to feel good about the number of reps they do.

I only recently thought of it again and, like everything, it's on youtube.
