Heads Up Rural Illinois...And perhaps Others

I grew up on a farm along the IA/MN border. We had feeder cattle, laying hens, geese, sheep - typical farm - and lots of pigs. Dad wasn't overly concerned about us around any of the animals except the sows. There was evidently a farmer he knew that had years before been knocked over by the sows and was eaten. Every now and again a cat would have kittens in the hay loft of an adjacent building, but we had to get to it through the sow lot. We would take a quick look around and then run like hell. Dad probably would have strangled us if he had known we were doing that.

I grew up on a midwest farm, and occasionally we raised pigs. (when the market outlook was good for it only).

And like you say, the sows were SO scary. First of all, they are HUGE, also they emit a super LOUD squeal that hurts your ears.

They would be indoors in individual pens in the harsh parts of winter when giving birth to piglets, and would jump up and begin to go over the fence that was keeping them away from people in the barn. They would try to come AT you, over the fence, squealing and showing its teeth and open mouth. LOUD SQUEAL. HUGE teeth. They eat ANYTHING.

I don't eat pig meat today because I know they eat anything, and I bet a lot of today's farmers feed them total trash for food. They would love to eat Antifa Pellets.

i’m in rural central missouri and have personally seen 3 YELLOW school busses with out of state plates posted up throughout my town of 11,000. very odd, and the police presence has been high as hell.

Here is the thing about why they "may" venture. You may be prepared, but, you are not "as" organized. Maybe you could call up the neighbors to get everyone on the same page?

Maybe we could get a document going that can outline the specifics on how to handle an insurgency in rural areas?

The point is, they have from what I have seen from 2015 a 26 page organizational document. What do you have? If we want to call ourselves peppers, then lets prep. Lets prep for an insurgency in rural areas.

FYI, I live in a gated community with the chief sheriff and 3 other sheriffs and he called a meeting few nights ago to explain their plan for keeping our area safe. We have a guard tower lol Timed volunteer shifts with a signup sheet in google sheets. We havent started yet but some families or on edge. Especially the older generations.

Now is the time to gather your community and see who they really are. IDK if any of you have seen Jerrico, but I have been having flashback nightmares of that show.

OP, did they specifically state Illinois? Other Midwestern states have state routes with those same numbers.
