Just did our last pig a couple of weeks ago. Freezers are full, hams have been hanging, bacon smoked.

It's a good feeling to eat something you raised.

300# pigs going for under $100 here in Nebraska. Great deal for a bunch of meat, but its 90+ outside. Someone said it would be too slimy in the heat to butcher ourselves. No way of keeping cool but ice. Lot of pigs have been killed off this year.
