Is there a depression?
In Marion, I could be wrong generally but it seems like there is a sellers market for labor. This is very strange for this city usually. How can this town be as busy as Black Friday every day for a week, huge demand for labor, while all this economic destruction is going on around me? Or perhaps I have been reading the wrong news?

It is the most asymmetrical depression I've seen. Not studied the depression 1800s though.

I got some gold. It may hold its value but it won't explode in price as long as there is an lid on inflation, international relations, and law and order.

Yes there should be a huge flight from the cities now that business has left permanently and war and hate reign and not law and order.

I doubt any lockdown order would be taken seriously enough to be enforceable after what we got a taste of.
