In real life, AC, this type of thing just does not happen, but very rarely. By this I specifically mean unless if you are super pumped up and your heart rate is super high which means your blood pressure would be to the point of almost spontaneously exploding you... or at least your heart you will never see much or any blood in the exact moment(s) of first injury. Your post is proof positive you have been watching vastly too many Hollywood productions.
