The suit is insulated and it does keep the inside temperature as stable as possible but he is saying that you can still feel the temperature extremes. He is not trying to say that his body was exposed to those extremes, but that the suit was, and that he could feel the temperature difference through the insulation.

It's like picking up something with an oven mitt. You can feel the heat through the mitt, but you are not exposed directly to the full heat, so you hand is protected, but you can tell that the mitt is touching something hot.

For the last question, I don't know where that picture came from. This video seems to be a montage of the astronaut talking during an interview with various clips added later by the editor.

Again? It's the first time that a commercial company has designed and built and flown a capsule with people in it into orbit. It's a major accomplishment and it's the return of Americans into space from an American spacecraft on American soil. If you can't celebrate that then it's time for you to get out of my thread, not the other way around you piece of shit.

I think the AC interpreted your title "Flying by the Moon" to mean that you were saying that the spacecraft actually went to the Moon.

Maybe, but I've seen a lot of huffing that the SpaceX launch was "no big deal" and "nothing new" which kind of surprised and disappointed me.

Well, in that way, it is basically a face lift of old pyrotechnic technology. Sure, it requires lots of engineering and precision to get it to work right, but that's just a sign of using the wrong tool for the job.

Energy/heat must coexist with matters. The dark side of the moon is not cold as NASA said. If heat can radiate into space, at night time will be so cold. Way below zero.

I found the link to view the ISS and signed up to view it when it's in my area. I viewed it several times in the night sky in the past, but the link I used isn't available anymore. I'm all set with a NASA link. Yay!
