Speak your mind diplomatically. I am single and female as well and it is what I do. I have facts to back me up and any of their arguments can be quickly shot down except by those who do not wish to let you speak and will drown you out with their rhetoric so no one hears you. Tell them to research themselves. The facts are out there.

I like playing the vid where all the news media from different stations and all over the country say everything in concert verbatim. That really startles people. If you do, just be sure you don't use a vid where it says all stations owned by Sinclair, as they will argue then with that. It's a slight deception, but I don't mind it as it starts people thinking that they are being played and some will do some research.

We had a small one in Edinburg last weekend. That one stayed peaceful. Cops brought em pizza. Harlingen had one Wednesday & Thursday. Wednesday about 50 people showed, Thursday about 10. McAllen is gonna be different. They're busing them in from Houston/Dallas.

I have not heard of any in Aledo area(west of DFW) as of yet. If you think they may hit shops in your area and you know any owners of shops you can and should arm up and stand guard at these places. UNLESS you are close enough to City Hall and need to protect your own property.

The police are not doing much in the DFW area. I know you are in the tip near the border, but it may be a wise thing to connect with locals and start setting up to preemptively kick this crap in the rear. Comms make a difference. Start hitting up locals you know. The more that are listening...well you know.

Ironically your describing a situation that is playing out exactly like you described in my neighborhood.

BLM has planned a protest in my city beginning Saturday afternoon. The suburb I live in is a predominantly white, mid/upper-mid class area with no real police brutality issues to speak of. As well, the staging area for this "protest" is called the Golden Circle, a major shopping district on a main thoroughfare.

Why would they have a protest against police brutality here, and why stage it in a major shopping district? I think we all know the answer to those questions. It has nothing to do with police brutality, it's about White privileged and looting.

My neighborhood is only a half mile away from the protest staging area, my home only two blocks off the main road. There's a fairly large possibility that the crowds will pushed off the main road at night and end up in our neighborhood, and at that point most likely right in front of my home.

Neither our governor, nor our local officials have taken any action to protect our cities, no National Guard, no extra law enforcement from other areas sent in, no curfew imposed.

I've spoke to my neighbors, there are four of us, all middle aged alpha males whom are proud of our lives, our families, our homes and our city that will be fully prepared to defend our family, property, friends and neighbors should we be forced to. And I'm here to say loud and clear, WE"LL NEVER KNEEL.

I'm a disabled Vet, if I'm forced to protect my family and property I will be forced to do so with the utmost malice, due to my recent surgeries I can't do that physically so I will be armed, my neighbors have agreed. We have bats, knives and firearms at our disposal, and we are all fully prepared to use them in self-defense if necessary.

This is my concern, of course we will call law enforcement first if anything should arise, how quickly they respond and if we're forced to act is unknown. I've already spoke with the police here and told them of my situation. Officers have told me that all surrounding city police will be out in force and that they "don't expect" any violence or rioting. When I asked, "then why did they plan this in a major shopping district?" they had no response, just looked at each other and knew I was right.

Hopefully this plays out uneventful and it's a peaceful protest, if not my life may indeed change forever.

Man, I'd stay clear of any of these protests. I'm surprised no one has showed up with a explosive device that could hurt a lot of people. You see the masses and lots carrying back packs. All it takes is one nut job and it can go full blown retard. Scary times.

UPDATE: Protestors are arriving from Houston/Dallas via charter buses.

Local residents are now searching for the delivered bricks throughout the area & will retrieve them once found (I asked them to post photos if possible)

We’ve had 2 protests in Grosse Pointe, today will be 3 and 4

Mostly neighborhood people, not many outsiders, all have been peaceful so far

Yesterday the the police had to military MRAPS stationed in GPFarms and swat about a block away, both out of site from the protest but ready to act if there were any issues

This person tweeted out a pic of the vehicles to warn his “peeps”

Yesterday his twitter name was Anti Facist and he changed it to _peter_s

He’s a professor no less, but I noticed that other antifa people are dropping any mention of antifa in their tweet info but they are using the underscore around their names now

What do you mean we're not getting it? I think everybody here is aware the police are little to no help to the peaceful citizens during these riots. They have been little more than observers of the lawlessness, and that's why many GLPers, like OP, have started threads and commented about how best to protect our lives and property ourselves.

It really isn't, it's highly stressful on the families here, wives are freaking out because their husbands are being forced into this situation. My mother lives a mile away from me, she's absolutely terrified and has been crying every fucking day.
