A soccer mom's heaven. It is mostly a white area as well. If things get out of hand here today, it is going to be the end of playing nice imho. It may not start today, but I think at least in this part of Michigan if things go bad, it will be the day playing nice will have stopped and resistance to the 'movement' begins. The march starts at 4.30 until 6.30 and this on a national scale bears close watching. There are conflicting reports on many issues as to what city and police leadership are doing including the police joining in the march to keep it peaceful. |

Apparently I have a tough decision to make where my property is concerned. I know the argument, it can be replaced right, fuck that notion, we work too fucking hard. I guess I'll make the decision if the time comes, but it's definitely not leaning left. Maybe you saw someone "armed with something deadly" advancing on your property. Gotta have a camcorder rolling to be safe, no street lights here though. |

I was told by a cpl of SHPD I know that all the surrounding cities, SH, Shelby, Macomb, Clinton Twp and the Macomb County PD will be on hand. |

Now is when it will begin if it's going to though. A friend there monitoring just called, said so far so good, nothing really brewing yet. Police say the protest itself is supposed to end at MCCC at 830pm, right now, and the participants shuttled back to their staging area that's west of there and four blocks from my home. Just changed into my levi's, a throwaway shirt and shitkickers, hopeful but ready to throw down. I'll post again in an hour, or if I see any foot traffic. |
