Agreed. It blows my mind how people just go along with everything. I have this feeling that I'm imprisoned here for some reason or another. Maybe we all are and this is a prison planet.

It sadly is comforting in a melodramatic way that others feel the same way.

What saddens me is the wicked all around me seem cheerful and happy a lot of the time. It baffles me. I seek God day and night, as many do, and we are overlooked, mocked, scoffed at, and ridiculed.

It does say that the first shall be last and the last shall be first, but damn, I'm fighting to justify reasons to stay alive on the daily.

I feel as if there is something critically wrong with me and I beat the hell outta myself for it. I know this solves nothing but I do not cope the best.

This is how sad my life is.

Two days out of the week I buy beef jerky and some soft drinks. Those two things are what is pulling me through at this point. I love good beef jerky and a good soft drink.

its almost become cliche but focusing on others in need really does help. gives you more to do, refocuses your mind to something else and helps people. just a suggestion.

I bet you pay more for your internet connection than you give spiritually (tithes, offerings, charity)

Eh, •MorningStar•, I too have been feeling mighty depressed off and on about how I figure I most likely be shot and killed later this year when all hell break loose and our Military and/or militarized police begins to take people away from their homes and into mass forced quarantines for their mass forced vaccinations. Knowing darn well your days are like like a calendar -- numbered -- can be quite depressing. So I have been doing my best to live up life the best I can in the mean time.

try doing things...develop a passion out of the simple things....like making your own jerky from grass fed beef.

dehydrators are cheap

slice thinly and marinate:

3-4 cups chicken broth
garlic 4 cloves
1 lime squeezed for juice
cilantro
salt+pepper

beef, cover one side with chili + cumin powder + salt + pepper, tenderize and repeat on the other side

slice thinly and soak in the marinade for 24 hours

lay out on dehydrator racks and dry at around 160 for 8-10 hours depending on the thickness of the cut

Stop ya bitchin.

When you've lived the life I have, sometimes you lose faith. Have you ever spent 10 months in a state insane asylum? I did in 2012.

You begin to question all of life's injustices. Many of the saints, patriarchs, matriarchs, and prophets all doubted at times. Look at Elijah, he doubted AND had depression.

Do you believe that angels and demons can interact with us in this world? That spirits can corrupt against free will?

Who cares just do what you enjoy and tune out the non sense

Not sure about that one. I think deomons try to alter free will to make us slaves to sin, but angels are merely messengers of truth, building us up upon certain pre-existing truth.

If angels influenced free will you would think there would be more saints of Jesus Christ in the earth.

I'm not so sure free will even exists considering God is all powerful, thus sovereign.

Even Jesus said "no one can come to me unless God allows it" and "no one can have anything unless God gives it".

And if God knows all, even from before creation, He would know who are His and who aren't, thus He would know who would "choose His Son" and who wouldn't. I think this brings the notion of "many are called but few are CHOSEN".

Its a mystery.

I think free will is most likely a farce, that God exists in all, through all, all in all... including our minds and choices. Therefore God, chooses those who are predestined for salvation as the Bible says.

Yes, the Bible says it is predestination and even that God chooses us and that we did NOT choose Him.

From my 6th year to my 30th year I suffered depression over long periods of time usually up to half of a year or so. After a spell of mania I was diagnosed as bipolar. Treatment for manic depression has been much better for me than for depression. I read that 30% of the people are depressed in the USA and I think that is a shame. I haven't been deeply depressed for more than 3 days for over 10 years and it is a very liberating feeling.

Hope and faith helped me and became a great source of peace to lean on in troubling and confusing times.

I hope you find a solution for your depression. Just know you have many peers. Depression is the true epidemic in the USA affecting more than 100 million of us.

Unfortunately I really enjoy smoking and do not mind if I die early from it. I heard lung cancer is brutal, but I enjoy the act of smoking and the taste of tobacco too much to quit.

I've tried the patch, gum, lozenges, etc. No luck yet.

Perhaps in the future.

Awesome reply. I take Lithium and Depakote to help with mania and depression. I have mood swings on the monthly, its pretty darn bad at times.

I was on HEAVY antipsychotics for 10 years due to my doctor misdiagnosing me. My current doctor couldn't believe it and told me I very likely have brain damage from them. He said they are good for psychosis, but it comes at a cost. Plus in all his years of practice he has never seen someone on such a high dose of an antipsychotic. The Lithium activates with valproic acid (depakote) and can rebuild atrocites and Grey matter brain tissue in about 1 to 2 years. Ive been on them for about 5 months now with some minor success.

Earth is hell and life is suffering.

Me too. This life just feels so different from "back in the day". And why is it that some seem to just carry on in happiness and dont see things like we do? Do you think God wants us to feel this way right now....like this is what He meant by us not being of this world?
