Nope. Clicking is a pretty bad sign. Had a harddrive do that once, it was completely dead, unrepairable, and only a few weeks old, I was pissed.

A clicking drive can often be booted if its frozen first. Google it. If you can get it up, copy all the data off immediately.

I totally agree with this. Most people (male and female) are awful, self-absorbed abusers.
