No more revolving doors between corporations and the heads of agencies, or even agency employment.

No more corporations buying seats on research boards for federally funded colleges.

I'd correct the no lobbying to no paid lobbyists and no politicians being allowed to be lobbyists.

Also, votes should be counted and livestreamed with anyone who wants to view the counting being allowed to be in the room for the counts. Then pdf's of the vote as well as the counting of the precinct should be archived for citizens to review at their leisure.

Also, no more insider trading shields for the f'ing politicians.

Caps on the amount spent to run for office. No one should pay a million dollars to win a 35k seat, or 5 million to win a 175k seat.

Debates for every level should be aired on public television and live stream.

That's off the top of my head.

Pretty sick of fraudulent actors.

something has to be done about commie social media. twitter one-sided censorship, liberal run fact checking... not sure of how to start here, but, lot's of work to do.

Delivery-only Futures market. No options of any kind.

No bailouts or too big to fail. No stock buybacks.

No deficit-funded gov pensions. You get social security like the rest of us.

Make social security NOT a Ponzi Scheme. Money is held is a name.

No public sector unions.

No largesse.

No more than 1 person in a family is a gov employee. If mom or dad are, children cannot be.

Hard-backed money. No more theft via inflation.

No more fascism via gov-sponsored enterprises or public-private partnerships.

Gov keeps the playing field level for commerce and does not participate in or manipulate it. No selective laws that favor or hinder businesses of any size or structure.

Gov cannot own intellectual property. Private sector does that.

Perfect! Glass-Steagall is most likely the key. The proliferation of propaganda has become absolutely insane.

thanks. glass-steagall isn't just proliferation propaganda though. it is allowing the mega companies to dominate too many sides. if you own WAPO (bezos), you shouldn't be allowed to own a company that profits from what wapo drivels.

Minimum IQ requirements for all Federal elected positions. Must have a verified 3 digit IQ.

Get rid of government retirement pay / pensions for all elected positions. Elected positions are to serve your fellow citizens, not become a job/retirement program.

Simple to enforce. They have to pass 3 different IQ tests with a score of a 3 digit IQ or higher. That is a requirement before they can ever get on the ballot.

90% of blacks and 60% of women will not qualify at all for Federal elected positions. Huge improvement right there.

add to this the break up of news outlet/company ownership. its reported that 6 companies own 90+% of news outlets/companies.

news outlet/companies needs to owned by (dont know what the right number should be... needs some analysis) a much larger number of unaffiliated companies.

Also, ban all lawyers from Federal positions. They are trained liars and simply want to debate everything with lies and accomplish nothing.

this is exactly related to glass-steagall, that bill clinton neutered, as mentioned in my op

i'm on the fence about this. the lawmakers should have a good grasp of how the law works. there are good and bad lawyers, just like there are good and bad everything...

No stock buyback using any government/Fed any borrowed money of any kind.

No short selling of stocks using any government/Fed any borrowed money of any kind.

Government must be allowed to look at both sets of "books".

if you are going to do it, might as well take care of the entire infection instead of just trying to mask the symptoms.

If you want to have a phony and fraudulent stock and bond markets, make it completely separate from the fiat/money we use to function.

If it were up to me, I would get rid of it entirely. No more public inc companies. No more shareholders or dividend to be paid out. No more pirating and looting successful businesses that employ hundreds or thousands so a few rich fat cats can get their shekels an ocean away.

Money isn't created out of thin air and tied to something that can't be inflated, like precious metals or a digital certificate on each and every fiat in circulation. no more printing trillions out of thin air and handing it out the oligarchs.

make money, which is simply a store of our labor, unmovable. remove the ability of them being able to siphon off of our labor. I would even go so far as to make fiat confined to state boarders with a clearing house for barter/trade between states.

Everything is produced stateside. If something needs to be brought in, something of equal value will need to be traded out for balance.

I would burn our financial system to the ground. All it is is gambling and insider fraud while the rest of us sheep are getting scraps off of our masters table and thinking we are so clever.

Bring back Glass-Steagall is like shutting down Three huge pipelines (that are really sewers) that flow sadistic funny money.

i think an easier way, inspired by your post is to bring back the gold back monetary standard.

I completely understand. But in today's age of digital everything..stocks and bonds are being used as currency. there is no fiat involved anymore, just 0's and 1's on a computer. So a company massively inflates their stock prices by buybacks or other schemes, and then converts that into fiat...what happens if there isn't fiat backed by gold available to be assigned to that trade?

you have to create something out of thin air because the markets are not a zero sum game. If it were honest, for every dollar gained, another needs to be lost. Equal. If it isn't this way, money is being created out of thin air at that time.
