I'd like to wake up and it be June 1980

i'd be for this if this wasn't based on a staged event (floyd) and contrived riots. in other words, it's not organic, it's a setup to bring in something more nefarious than the militarized police we're used to.

I remember by then, music was great, but jimmy carter sucked, the evening news was so what about the facts, with only about half of it being fake, unlike today media wasn't there to lie to the people each and every hour. Cable tv was fairly new, hbo sucked, and star wars was all they showed each and every day. cnn was getting it's legs, ted turner was getting a name for himself, and his wife fonda the trader, like making video jumping up and down....LOL. Owned my first car back then, Plymouth Duster, the only car I ever loved.

Honestly it was a very good and important time in my life. I turned 8 in June 1980, and as a Mormon that meant I was baptized then.There was a girl in the church I told everyone was my girlfriend who got baptized the same month. She told me Carter was going to win. I said Reagan.

We haven't talked since.

While we're at it, how about go all the way back to the 1920's...had to have been a much better time compared to now, and for very specific reasons.

I don't want to be 7 years old again and relive all that HELL.
