I got up at 4:30 am went in my kitchen and started a pot of breakfast nector . while I was waiting for it I opened the curtain over the sink and looked out into the branches of a large elm I planted 22 years ago and sure enough just a few feet from me was the robin sitting in the nest I watched them build . leaned on the counter and fired up a cigar and watched as the other birds started coming off their nightly roosts and greeted the new day . when my coffee was done I took it outside with cigar in hand and took a seat under another big elm next to the blooming honeysuckle bushes . the hummingbirds were buzzing around me collecting their nector . I looked off to the east and saw a rock chuck standing on a rock looking out into the alfalfa field , took a snort of coffee and looked to the west . there were several young cotton tailed rabbits playing jumping over each other and running in circles around each other . a few ravens came in and landed by me wanting their morning hard boiled eggs and burger balls . I got up and gave it to them and eight blackbilled magpies that came in behind the ravens . the neighbors chickens came in and had breakfast with the corvids . l looked on approvingly as they ate and noticed a lone coyote a few hundred feet away in the tall grass watching with interest . that is my typical morning in the sticks . it is enough to keep me smiling every day . I would recommend it to anyone .

Don't spoil it by telling people. You'll attract dindoos and other shitholers. Starting to ruin my once nice small town.
