Quoting: OnTheFence Upper Wisconsin. Right before Rona happened they started reducing hours and removing the 24 hours from the stores. I asked the store manager and he said they are test market stores its why they operate differently from corporate. Yes, there are test stores. So that makes sense. We lost 3rd shift a few months before WuFlu began here. Then it was about 2 months before the public hours shrank back to 7-8:30 (though they work through til 11pm). Always thought/found it odd that Walmart has the pulse on this country so hard they were preparing for Rona about 30 days before it hit. o.O That's because of the very close ties between Walmart and the Feds. They knew. I can't go into details but the Government was preparing for the covid response at least 6 months prior. And actions taken during covid were in prep for our current crisis. "Chaos" by the numbers...
