Re: Woke Up This Morning With A Strong Feeling Of Dread.
Hopefully it's nothing but I woke up this morning with a strong feeling of dread.

To put this in context, I've NEVER woke up with a feeling of dread. Never.

I've been up for an hour and I'm still feeling it.

I was almost shaking...

Very strange.

Before I woke up I was having a dream with a locomotive (train) featured in it.

Nothing else really stood out in the dream.

I'm not sure if the dream and the dread are related or not. I really don't think they are.

Anyways, stay vigilant over the next 3 days.

Be safe. peace

3 weeks ago i had a dream i was up at my dads garage messing around on a 1966 Chevy Nova SS and something made my eardrums explode. I turned around to see a mushroom cloud and a shock wave coming at me. I wound up waking up but i remember it vividly. Also not sure why my ear drums exploded before the shock wave but it was extremely surreal feeling.

Why a 66 Nova? Did you used to own one?
Supernova is the explosion of a star. Someone before posted about Bowie's Blackstar. Is this event something in space that will get us on planet earth?

Supernovae can expel several solar masses of material at speeds up to several percent of the speed of light. This drives an expanding shock wave into the surrounding interstellar medium, sweeping up an expanding shell of gas and dust observed as a supernova remnant. Supernovae are a major source of elements in the interstellar medium from oxygen to rubidium. The expanding shock waves of supernovae can trigger the formation of new stars. Supernova remnants might be a major source of cosmic rays. Supernovae might produce gravitational waves, though, thus far, gravitational waves have only been detected from the mergers of black holes and neutron stars.

Re: Woke Up This Morning With A Strong Feeling Of Dread.
As soon as it was the New Year I had the worst anxiety of my life.

All of January I was barely sleeping, stress eating, had a huge IBS flare up, felt the need to "flee" somewhere and even started feeling suicidal. Had a full on breakdown. My family and my friends all got very worried, I had to start seeing a therapist.

Nobody could figure out why.

Then, in March, I began to find the answer.

I now have the sense something even worse is coming.

I hope that - for the first time this year - I'm wrong.

Had that sort of feeling on the morning of 9/11, never before or after.

Told everyone a big event will happen today, got weird looks off them since.

Re: Woke Up This Morning With A Strong Feeling Of Dread.
Train could be a symbol of something big with a sense of feeling out of control.

For example:

Timeline: Peaceful march to Irving Park, and clash outside Justice Center during 10th night of Portland protests

What they don't talk about is the bomb that was set off out side of the Justice Center. What's peaceful about that? Or the destruction of property and millions of dollars worth of clean-up that is required after something like this has been going on for days.

So is the train a symbol of ongoing protests and riots? Is the feeling of dread have to so with feeling overwhelmed at watching what is happening within our country and the dismantling of some police departments? Is it that you don't feel safe? Or are you sensing even something worse coming down the tracks?

Only time will tell
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Me, too. I can usually sleep it off, but this morning it is like I feel helpless; there is nothing I can do.

The US is self detonating, the Covid is still here, everything fun and a distraction has been so altered or so regimented that the fun has been squeezed out of it.

Even work has been changed so much that just the basic accomplishment of it requires alterations, wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing.

There's been a million of these types of posts over the years. I don't care what feeling you had when you woke up, you don't see me posting a thread every time I wake up and have a bowel movement do you? You are about as psychic as my left testicle. Your 'feeling' means absolutely nothing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78344037

Hopefully you wake up to bowel movements more than you do to a feeling of intense dread. Not really a good comparison.

As you state that you "don't care what feeling.." the other person had, why do you think they care enough about you to change a thing? They're probably thinking that they don't care how you feel about their post.

As to whether or not this person is psychic, well you don't KNOW one way or another, do you? That's just your opinion.

Re: Woke Up This Morning With A Strong Feeling Of Dread.
I had a vivid dream that myself and a large group of others (men, women and children) - we all knew each other, but I am not sure how - were all heading to a strategic "higher ground" spot. Each group of us (individual families) all had small arms, but the strategic location had a collective cache. The "enemy" as far as I could tell were people just like us (we were diverse ethnically, but all seemed to be middle class) and were planning on attacking us.

Something happened on the way to the cache, and my family was not able to make it there (car broke down)...I opened up my trunk to grab our weapons and bug out bags as we were going to hike the rest of the way....the weapons I had were replaced with bb guns, and my food was gone...

With a sense of dread, my family and I began hiking quickly to where we were going, but as we approached, we noticed something was not right

I had the realization that our group had a traitor that had sold out the group (and apparently replaced our weapons with bbguns/toys/etc)

the groups that made it to the rendevouz point were slaughtered

I had a dream last night that my parents (both deceased for about a decade) wanted me to go on an impromptu vacation with them--just pick up and leave without notifying anybody.

I told them (in the dream) that I couldn't do that, I'd lose my job. And, I'd lose whatever I had at the place where I work. My coworkers would grab whatever I had in my office.

But my parents were saying that would be okay, that I should just drop everything and go with them.

Been on GLP since 1998

Not once before doom happened.

9/11
Fukushima
Indonesia tsunami
Multiple Mass shootings
COVID 19 Global Shutdown
World wide RIOTS from a convicted felon and drug addict.

Not once did someone post I have a feeling something is coming.......

This is a pattern when people post I have a feeling. It means, doom just happened and the anxiety/stress has slowed just a bit. Just enough for people to reflect on their emotions, and 10/10 times it is a bad feeling.

Have you ever been in a HUGE stressful situation in life. Stressed out, anxiety, high emotions. And once the stressful circumstances passes, you suddenly feel exhausted.

Same thing. People are exhausted, finally the blood pressure stabilizes and you suddenly feel your emotions from when the stressful situation started.

DOOM only happens, when there is peace and security
DOOM only happens when people are relaxed and not paying attention.

Same pattern for 22 years.

Peace and security = Doom

If you are having a “feeling” in the morning you need a bowel movement to release the toxins from foods the previous day..

You cannot have a “bad “ feeling after worldwide events of COVID19, Global Shutdown, Global mask wearing, Global Nag. Ger riots. And AFTER all these first time WORLDWIDE EVENTS all the sudden have a bad feeling. And think it has nothing to do with the events that just transpired? But believe all the sudden you know something is next.

And for the ones that had a feeling before these events. Obviously the feeling was not strong enough to post a warning on GLP.

It is called stress exhaustion and your emotions have caught up with the events that just transpired.

Re: Woke Up This Morning With A Strong Feeling Of Dread.
Many many people feeling there is something big coming but consensus among people that were picking up on this last few months seems to be later this month around the 20th - end of the month.

It will be global. So not something that just happens in Iowa for example. It will be something that people will not realize it right away - may take a few days to develop until you can identify what happened. So not like an asteroid hitting boom. Something that occurs and takes a bit for people to realize OMG.

They all advised get ready, get prepared etc.
Meaning do what you can to help yourself get food in the house etc. get batteries whatever you think you may need.

Those that think it is all BS won't and no problem hope they are right.
Those that are slightly worried should just in case to calm/ease their minds a bit. It won't hurt anything to prep just in case. If we breeze into July - August then cool!

Anyone have any ideas of what it may be?

I feel like bad things we can't control are coming our way too. Whatever it is in the air, it makes me a bit anxious and sad. But I try to be positive anyway. I think it possibly could be a EMP or CME wiping out our power grid. At first we'd all think our electric was just out local for some usual reason. It could take a while to find out the scope of it, and what exactly caused it. That could explain the few days to figure out how bad it was. But this is just an idea, could be many things right.
