Precognitive Dreams / Is the Future Set in Stone?
This is a question to those who have precognitive dreams or visions, as well as open for philosophical discussion among anyone.

Background, i have had dreams of future events and places my whole life. Nothing spectacular like seeing 9/11 before it happened but definitely for fact i can say sporatically i have had clear visions of future events and places in dreams growing up.

What i define as this is, 1. I have a dream at a certain date, and, 2. I remember that dream, and, 3. Something from that dream happens in real life later. I define it that way in order to separate this phenomena from deja vu, which actually is another occurrence that has plagued me my whole life and is a totally other conversation in itself!

On to my point of this thread:

Early this year, i had a dream which i knew to be precognitive. In the dream i was working at a different company than i currently was and i was shaving my hair to a buzz cut. When i awoke i immediately knew it was precognitive and got somewhat concerned because i really enjoyed where i worked and also i did not want to shave my head. I was doing service call electrical work, so to maintain a professional appearance i kept my hair in a crew cut, parted to the side. In the past, i would buzz my hair to save money and avoid the florida summer heat.

Anyhow, a week or two after that dream covid19 shut down my state and i lost my job. This prompted me to do an experiment:

What if i refuse to shave my head? How set in stone was that premonition?

So far, i haven't shaved my head and i am in fact letting it grow out to prove a point- that i am in control of the future and it notnot set in stone.

Does anyone have thoughts on this?

There are wheels within wheels of the wheel of time. On a infinite track we roll.

Maybe; because it's a track, things will happen that can't be avoided. But because you can go to a new wheel and track, things are not universally the same.

YES.

We are like on rails. No real choice. Like on a roller coaster. You get out where you started.

As I already said, the future is not written in stone.

You should worry when your ‘precog’ time is in sync with actual happenings, if they are not then there is a world of difference between them then and now.

Their bullshit has limits, although they would preferred it different.

Re: Precognitive Dreams / Is the Future Set in Stone?
To some degree but ive found there are more than just one possibility the closer im getting to the last one.
Geography plays a huge role. There are several different outcomes taking place at the same time. Question always comes down to, which outcome do I wish to play a role in?

Some of the dream visions ive had were impossible, but here we are today in the middle of it. I feel like I understand it better, however, I still get angry or become confused because I don't want it to be true. Now I'm on a "growing" vision. Learning. These are schools. Then comes work. Not much fun anymore. That went out the door with the covid thing. Now I see others having visions. Going thru what I did. I'm hearing from others what I went thru and I know they wont listen. Its all in your mind. All of it. That's why we need each other BEFORE the event. To warn them not to react. Nothing on earth can kill you unless God allows it. Ive tested it over & over again.
Tess.

I've wondered that. Often had precognitive dreams, usually about people dying. Last one I remember was reading a headline about the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Only he wasn't PM then. It's funny, it's like you feel something's already happened and you're jumping back and forwards in time. So no, I don't think the future's set in stone.

Unless it is, and this present has already happened...

Mind boggling.

Not exactly. The way I look at it. We are given freedom of choice, and so every path we take leads to splits in the road where we make decisions, and then they lead down other paths.

So in essence, yes its in stone if you make a certain combination of decisions, ushering in specific chains of events. However, your decision making at these forks in the roads you encounter can impact which eventuality is the one you end up experiencing.

Re: Precognitive Dreams / Is the Future Set in Stone?
I had a few of these dreams as well. And just like you, nothing bombastic or revolutionary, only daily situations, like talking to a friend, walking somewhere and simple things like that. Some of them I just forgot until the same situation happened a some time later. Some a few months, some a few years. The ones I was talking to someone, when it happened, I remembered with details the whole conversation, to the point I interrupted him and told him what he's gonna say next. He just looked at me like I was the devil himself. And this happened already a dozen of times. Some other occasions, the dream was a mix of a normal situation, with something really crazy. When it happened, the regular(normal) part, just happened for real and the crazy part, in my head.

Now the thing is: How can I tell which of my dreams are precognitive and which ones are not? Its frightening to me, because I had some real nasty ones.

And thanks for sharing!

OP, this post may help shed some light on the subject. Note the story of Laden and what happened. Note; it wasn't a P. Dream but rather a P. Vision.

Thread: Premonitions of future events, lessons to be learned.

Shalom.

Farewell American Samoa, the "last stop of today and just a stones throw from tomorrow"and with that said and done I stood up, standing at the end of the day and walked boldly onward into tomorrow and to the given day of rest.

Re: Precognitive Dreams / Is the Future Set in Stone?
Another point is: if my dreams were dreamed in one time, but it happens, in some occasions, years later. It means that everything lead me to that specific point, even thinking I was doing my own choices. Which is something to be taken into account. Everyone makes their own choices and all choices influences someone else at least in a minor way. So it is not possible for one to be the result of their own choices, since choices from others also influence in yours.

Does anyone else relate to the word "marker"?
If so, are your markers changing to some degree?
At first the marker was clear when it happened. Exactly as I envisioned it. Now it could be a news story or even a fake news story that doesn't happen in reality but has the same situation with the same people.
