I fully expect an "outbreak" after the 4th of July and everything being re-shut down. I still have restrictions on my business and a lot of marketing materials, insurance mail and my suppliers are indicating that my industry is not going to be back to normal for a couple of years. To that end, I still have suppliers (American) who are taking orders only if you can accept a 3-6 month wait. Many of these are made in the USA, so it's not China problems.

Going along with Covid-19 being an actual disease (not talking about Black Death level illness, just ok, it makes you sick), then the BLM protests have got to be spreading it.

Liberals are making a huge fuss now about the numbers rising is Memorial Day (aka White People) and has nothing to do with the protests/riots. July 4th will be these protests, but I bet white people will be blamed for the new shut down because of Independence Day.

Don’t listen to anything the New York slimes says. Stop complying with restrictions, the protesters didn’t have to. Just don’t forget what you learned.

Business-wise, it causes problems if you don't comply. I have to keep a log of my temp every day I am open and can't open if I have a temp of any kind, wear a mask, have clients wear a mask, keep to one at a time for service, curbside service when I can, sanitize the fitting room, have hand sanitizing available for clients and a slew of other BS things. Don't comply the Health department can shut you down. Maybe not lock your doors, but they can fail you and ruin your business reputation until you do comply with them.

For the record, I'm not currently open. I have been waiting for fabric for a job since March...it's due in sometime in July or August. Specialty items are a minimum of 6 weeks delivery, most of what I use is expected Spetember-January. It is not possible to maintain a service if you can't get the stuff to provide it.

As to the NYT, I thought I would share the stupidity they are promoting. Do I believe or comply with any of it? No. Do I think they are going to blame a holiday on spreading it and causing more restrictions? Yes.

Those are not the numbers of sick people.

The real numbers would be hospitalizations and deaths.

But you can't even trust that.

Not with big money on the line.

To get money from Covid-19 all they have to put on it is that it is presumed.

Gun shot victims who died from gunshot wounds are counted in Covid-19 death numbers.

I bet George Floyd is counted in the death numbers. He tested positive for it.
