Home headquarters of the worlds largest retailer with over 1,500,000 US employees err associates. But yeah, lots of those people didn't look local.

In my youth, B'ville was all white (except for one), Walton had a dime store on the square. Maybe 4 cops. He opened WM #1 in Rogers. 1962. You wouldn't recognize what it was by today's standards. No spt goods, no pharmacy, no auto, just some cheap dresses and ladies underwear.

The disturbance was started by a small group of racist trump supporters, who were then protected by law enforcement as they were deploying tear gas and rubber bullets (which they tried to deny using). It really did seem like it was coordinated and pre-planned. There was no warning before they sent the first round of tear gas, which was expired in 2014 by the way. The protest in Fayetteville went very well, rather than deploying crowd dispersion tactics, the Fayetteville PD simply removed the same type of people that tried to have an repeat of the Bentonville protest. I know people that were at both protests, and the provocateurs were NOT those that were protesting.
