I think the biggest problem with the lack of consensus is that there probably NEVER was consensus... but we got along just fine.

With social media, we now know all of the crazy shit going through everyone's minds in real time... which is scary when you combine that with an onslaught of rage-bait media, and is potentially civilization-ending.

Ive literally watched several people try and start militias over photoshopped pictures. Their plan is working, to a T as this is still the majority of people falling for it.

No, the story was a bit over blown.

On the WIN System (a major repeater network in CA) there was a discussion and the consensus was that CalFire with little to no warning stopped hosting amateur equipment at their fire-related radio sites. Not something affecting other private or rented repeater/antenna sites.

Some repeaters (VHF/UHF mainly, not SW) were taken offline without warning, which was an inconvenience to say the least for some, but it's not something affecting all.

A bit unrelated, but it's interesting to note hams immediately responded that this weakens communications for emergency crews; the amateur radio motto is "when all else fails, amateur radio."

DHS is concerned power cuts may affect communications and are requesting status reports through their typical disaster reporting system.

So CA isn't outlawing amateur radio and emergency communications, but we can see just how important it is regardless.

They see what is going on and rather than having their house burned down or business destroyed, they keep quiet about it.

The "silent majority" is silent for a reason. In this day and age with the MSM being the enemy of decent, working class people, you cannot count on them to tell the truth about anything.

Most people have pretty good discernment skills. I "know" when I read bullshit that it is bullshit and so do most other people.

I am not convinced Jeffery Epstein is even dead. I am not convinced George Floyd is dead....they could easily fake that crap and lie to us and how do we even begin to research and prove that idea? We don't because we have zero access to real information and records

Problem is, the media is lying to us about absolutely everything. For those of us who realize the offered "ISO standard for truth" is nothing but deception and propaganda, no good replacement exists. All we have left to go on, is our gut feeling.

My gut feeling also tells me Epstein is probably alive and well somewhere, and perhaps Floyd too. But it's just a gut feeling, it's not a verified truth, and I know it.
