I stayed near the hardrock Casino for about 2 weeks about 4 months ago, pre-lock down. When I looked for a hotel to stay in, I checked out several that were in that area.

Anything north or west of the casino? The user comments pretty much made it sound like you'd be staying in Bosnia. Comments were along the lines of, "Bring multiple firearms, you'll need em" , "If you like hookers soliciting you in the parking lot and "working" in the room next door, this is your place", "Be prepared to sleep in shifts until you can find another hotel". On and on, needless to say, I ended up getting a room about 10 miles to the south, which was nice.

When I was up at the casino I did drive around the area one day, mostly west and north. It was the definition of the "Hood". Complete VFW zone, Very Few Whites.
