Reminds me a liberal agriculture professor I know.

He bought a farm in Tennessee,with the intent on retiring from teaching and to put his "knowledge" to use.

He really believed with his advanced knowledge that he could outperform local farmers who'd been doing it for generations.

Three years later he was bankrupt and back at the university.

The garden is pitiful, would take 100x more space to feed everyone there. They would be better off growing cannabis, selling it, and buying food with the profits. But we all know how that would end. They would smoke the profits and starve to death.
