Filmed for the first time with my new 4K Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The second stage rose into sunlight during the launch, causing a brilliant display that lit up the sky behind the clouds as you can see on the viewfinder camera video at the end. Fuck. You. Elon. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71490829 Because they want to see a crash? Personally I hate it when they blow up. Why? Accidents show how not to do things in the future. It should be a celebration. Without them, there is no progress. |

Without them, there is no progress. It's one thing when it happens during development, like with Starship right now. I don't mind that because they are pushing the envelope, but you hate to see it happen with an operational payload on board. |

Also towards the end of the video there were two boxes: a red box and a blue box? What are those for? Quoting: serena28 That's the second stage being backlit by the sun. Since it was the beginning of twilight at the launch site, the rocket launched into sunlight. The video at the end is my viewfinder window. The red box is my crosshair, the blue box is my cursor for selecting objects to automatically track. |
