This is looking more and more like a cyber attack of some sort.
 Quoting: SweetB

Absolutely. It was one thing when it was just cell service. Then Social media platforms were hit for 20-30 mins. Now Banking sites....wtf
 Quoting: Vegz

But just who or what is behind the cyber attack? Any ideas?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77783149

Looks like China. They only hit phone and text service. If they hit data how would we be able to shop on ebay for their worthless junk?

Do please elaborate, AC. I do not mean this sarcastically. I am legitimately interested in this part. Over the last week or so my Windows 10 installation on my main computer has BSoD'ed at least six times, but only recorded twice because I manually forced my main computer off before it could do a complete memory dump. I know Windows 10 is complete crap, but still... My main computer has BSoD'ed at random times.

Heck, even Skype signed itself out once in the middle of a lengthy message I was typing to a friend of mine on Skype on the same day Windows 10 BSoD'ed on me for no real reason. I have been wondering why it seemed as though my Windows 10 installation suddenly became rather unstable. Maybe it is not just my main computer, but alot more widespread than I originally thought.
 Quoting: darkwolf007

I can report that 2 days ago my phone started closing windows, opening apps, and other strange things.all by itself. Ive never experienced anything like this before. I thought i wss hacked .
My metro service is back though
So thats good
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72591743

Yeah. Similar here about Skype suddenly signing itself out in mid message, AC, and with Windows 10 suddenly BSoD'ing on me multiple times with no reason whatsoever. Each time Windows 10 crashed it was almost always a different thing that went wrong. I have been wondering if it is the RGB RAM sticks I bought off someone from Craigslist back in mid February this year, but I do not think so.

Just checked my iPhone which has Verizon cell service. It is working fine and I have not noticed any interruptions in service today but also did not use my phone much today.

Just sent a text to my Android which is served by Spectrum, that went through no problem. I can also access the Internet on both phones but I did find that Chase Bank's website is down.

What really sucks, AC, is you may be correct. It would really fricken suck if Microsoft forces up to Windows 7 users to install an update that forces Contact Tracing apps onto your computer with no way possible to undo that crap in the Registry and uninstall that crap.

Then turns you into the cops should you be unwilling to fill out any of the required Contact Tracing BS or unable to do so. If this would happen to me I would permanently move over to Linux or simply go full anti-electronics for the most part for the rest of my life. Well assuming I survive my encounter with such vile cops in the first place.

I figure this will be the case for the Contact Tracing apps Google will forcibly install onto our Android phones as well. You will be easily hunted down because the Contact Tracing app(s) will use your phone number and GPS to pinpoint your location as so long as you have your cellphone or smartphone with you.

First ROKU went nuts. Started beeping,
about ten beeps,
then remote quit working.
This is all wireless of course.
Then ROKU went out all together.

Wife tried to switch to OTA to watch
local channels and remote was DEAD.
I had a spare remote. Went and got it
and IT wouldn't work either.
Tried the buttons hardwired in the TV
and THEY worked fine.
I don't think I want to go back to the
old days to get up to change the channel!

Youngsters would FLIP if they had to do
what we just took for granted!

Wife has an intimate relationship with
Alexa, who I call a commie rat bastard
every chance I get.
I told the old lady, you KNOW she's
reporting back everything I say, don't you?

We're watching the TV and it's watching US,
and your friend Alexa hears every word I say.

When they come for me, it will be all your
fault, I tell the wife.

Well, I think it's just China checking it's war readiness, after all everything is made in china with backdoor technology.
On a side note starlink 5G technology reminds me of the description of the Anti Christ where it states that the Antichrist has eyes all around its head. Im not religious but 4500 mini satilites circling the earth tracking you and giving you 5G connection seems to fit that description.

Idk. If i want experiencing crazy stuff with android i would say it was simply wkndows.being windows. I honestly think they are implementing something for covid so they are ready when the govt starts contact tracing surveillance

The only way to beat the police state is to come together. They have black people.literally thinking white peope.have some secret pass with the cops and they have white people cheering for more poloce state. Division at its finest.

They've effectively politicized contact tracing. Now liberals are begging.to be spied upon. So called anti fascists. And they believe they're anti fascists. Oh the irony-anti fascist democrats begging for fascism. Begging for a surveillance snitch state while being funded and backed by multinational corps and billionaires.

Re: Huge T-Mobile and MetroPCS outage
I haven't been able to make or receive phone calls all day until 30 minutes ago.

I managed to get through to my sister (we are both on T-Mobile) and we talked for 20 minutes but then it suddenly disconnected and now I can't call her.

Wi-Fi calling has not worked all day either. Wifi browsing is fine.
