If an officer (or anybody else really) has a gun drawn on you there's really only 3 options.

1) Do as you're told

2) kill them

3) die

wtf? he was being charged, that is 100% a threat. if the suspect charges him and they get into a wrestling match and the suspect is able to get a hold of his gun, the officer could be killed, and other innocent people too.
