1) To defund the pandemic committee in May 2017 which was under the authority of the National Security Council (Bolton was National Security Advisor — the head of the NSC), paving the way for U.S. pandemic response failure which could then be blamed on Trump.

2) To gather “dirt” on Trump for a tell-all book right before the election.


Does anyone truly think Bolton didn’t have these two goals in mind when he took the job? That’s WHY he took the job.
